About

Artist, Storyteller, Photographer Pamela Shurilla feels that when problems come up, they are interesting challenges waiting for fun surprising solutions. Problems often arise with painting, sculpture, through capturing iconic moments in photography, copper smithing heroic jewelry, and storytelling through written and spoken form. Simply put, Pam feels the title of Storyteller combines her favorite art forms in inspirational ways so they can live in a friendly neighborhood and be good neighbors.

Receiving a B.A. degree in Art/Crafts from CSUF, previously attending a semester abroad while attending Orange Coast College, Pam found High School private art lessons foundational in providing her the skill of seeing, and expressing her love of detail through Realism style.

Quick witted, Pam has enjoyed being invited to guest speak and instruct on the topic of using art to become self-aware. In late 2018, on sabbatical to Barcelona while visiting the many sites of Architect Antoni Gaudí, Pam discovered the importance that one artist can have to elevate the imaginations of people visiting from around the world.
